The West Midlands Regional Assembly was abolished on 31st March 2010 and as a result this website is now just an archive website and the information contained on it will not be updated.

Following the cessation of the Regional Assembly's activities West Midlands' local authorities now have collective lead responsibility for planning and economic development in their area and sub-regions. All material that was commissioned and subsequently used in the development of the Regional Spatial Strategy and the early work of the Regional Strategy prior to 31st March 2010 can be found on this website. The entire evidence base has been catalogued using a spreadsheet which gives a URL for each resource where available and our catalogue number where we hold a copy.
